Clereflo Oil / Water Separators

BECAUSE WHAT'S DOWNSTREAM MATTERS!™

Pollution prevention is a critical part of sustainable drainage systems and stormwater treatment devices such as the Clereflo™ verified oil separators are specifically designed to contain and prevent silts and hydrocarbons (e.g. diesel, petrol or engine oil) entering the stormwater drainage system and prevent the pollution of our waterways.

Optimised & Industry-Ready Solutions

CLEREFLOOIL / WATER SEPARATORS BY ENVIROTANK

The Envirotank Clereflo range of Class 1 oil water separators have been independently third party certified by British Standards Inc. and UNISA here in Australia as fully complying with the European standard BSEN-858.1.2002.

The Clereflo range are full retention separators and will not discharge contaminates to the storm-water system in a hi flow or flood situation and are sized to contain more than the anticipated maximum oil spillage enabling them to be fully operational in always treating storm-water runoff, even in an emergency release situation.

All Class 1 separators come with a coalescing filter unit that incorporates an automatic closure device specifically designed to prevent any release of light hydrocarbons from entering the storm-water system. The automatic closure device {ACD) is protected by the coalescer filter from being interfered with by silt, solids and other organic or introduced rubbish, thereby making the ACD 100% reliable in an emergency spill situation.

All third party testing results confirm that Clereflo Class 1 oil water separators achieve a water discharge quality of less than Smg/litre of light hydrocarbons in full compliance with European Standard BSEN 858.1.2002 and are available in treatable flow rates that range from 6LPS to 200LPS.

SEPARATOR CLASSES AND TYPES

Class 1 separators are designed to achieve a discharge concentration of less than 5 mg/1tr of light hydrocarbons in all conditions. This class of separators are designed for discharging direct to storm-water drains and the environment.

Envirotank Clereflo Gravity Separator types:

Full Retention Separators
Forecourt or Under Canopy Separators

MAIN FEATURES OF THE CLEREFLO GRAVITY SEPARATOR BY ENVIROTANK

All Clereflo Gravity Separators are Class 1 Full Retention Separators and all liquid is treated. There is no by-pass possible.

All Clereflo Gravity Separators incorporate a coalescing process for the separation of smaller globular light hydrocarbons thus reducing the light hydrocarbon content in the outlet to less than 5mg per litre. The incorporated Automatic Closure Device {ACD) is sensitive to any change in water density and prevents any discharge as a consequence of excessive light hydrocarbon build up within the unit. In an emergency the ACD will automatically activate to shut off the separator outlet, preventing pollutants from discharging to storm-water drains and waterways.

APPLICATION AREAS:

  • Sites with hi-risk of oil contamination
  • Fuel storage depots
  • Refuelling facilities
  • Petrol Forecourts
  • Vehicle maintenance areas/workshops

The inlet is full length providing a wet seal & flame trap preventing a vapour path back to hazardous areas and no chance of a back-flow event in an extreme weather event.

Every Clereflo Gravity Separator also removes total suspended solids (TSS), silts, sediments and gross pollutants from the storm-water stream.

Clereflo Gravity Separators will function in the event of power failure and can be retrofitted into existing or new drainage systems.

Maintenance is easy and safe, with no entering of the tank required to remove contaminants and silts.
